Sisters of the Benedictine

Sister Bernadine Reyes, OSB is Prioress of the Benedictine Sisters of Boerne. She was born in Riviera, TX, and grew up Falfurrias. Sister holds a degree in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, and a Master’s in Theological Studies from the Oblate School of Theology. Sister also holds a Certification in Spiritual Direction from Yankton Spirituality Center, SD.

Sister Bernadine has served in Health Care, Parish Ministry, Hispanic Outreach, as Director of Formation and as Prioress with the Benedictine Sisters from 2001 -2018.  Most recently she was the Director of the Benedictine Sisters’ ministries in Boerne.  Sister has served on several local and National Boards and currently serves on the Board of Sam’s Kids in Boerne.
