It is October and that means it's Vocational Service Month in Rotary.

 Vocational Service focuses on:

· Adhering to and promoting the highest ethical standards in all occupations

· Recognizing the value of all useful occupations, not just those that are pursued by Rotarians

· Contributing one’s vocational talents to meeting the needs of the community

Or, as Gaylan Schroeder would say, it means we celebrate the ability and privilege of having a job! As such, we are proud to be presenting our local Christian Job Corps of Kendall County this Friday. Please plan on attending and inviting someone in the community to be your guest at this week's meeting.

This is also first Friday, so please remember to wear your Rotary shirt and bring food and peanut butter donations.

This week's program information:

Speaker:       Christian Job Corps of Kendall County

Host:             Jay Gilmore

Greeter:        Joe Granados

We will also be having a Board Meeting immediately following the regular meeting and the Board would love to have you attend.

Thanks and I will see you Friday,

Steve Driskill
