Jack Beckwith’s area of expertise is commercial and institutional properties including, auto assembly; processing equipment; construction and road building equipment; ferrous & non- ferrous metal recycling; healthcare services/ medical devices; paper and pulp products; packaging equipment; oil, gas & water drilling/distribution; plastics manufacturing; steel fabricators; public utilities; foundries; and other industries.
Though he is based in Texas, Mr. Beckwith has performed and supervised valuations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
Mr. Beckwith earned his BBA at the University of Texas, served on the University of Incarnate Word Nursing Advisory Board, donates his time as a Board Member for local charitable organizations, and enjoys wildlife management on his Texas property.
Since 2003, he has been an ASA Staff Instructor teaching the principle of valuation courses throughout the United States, Japan, Europe, and Saudi Arabia. These courses include Machinery and Equipment Valuation-Advanced Topics and Case Studies and developing Principles to Value Healthcare Facilities and Equipment.
Mr. Beckwith serves as the American Society of Appraisers representative to the International Valuation Standards Council Working Group since 2016. Currently he is writing a Plant & Equipment course for ASA International Members on the Key Stages for an IVS Global Compliant Valuation.
