Wildlife Rescue & Rehab
Krystal Mathis is the Intern & Volunteer Coordinator with Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. WR&R, a not-for-profit, relies heavily on volunteers for day-to-day operations. They provide the training necessary to work with wildlife, and are happy to work with beginners in the animal realm. Krystal will talk about this organization's work, promote involvement by the community in this unique animal-rescue organization, and promote the spirit of volunteerism.
Haven for Hope
Dear President John Rogers & Program Chair Mark Figart,
Your Haven for Hope Speaker for August 1, 2008, will be Dr. Ann Hutchinson Meyers, Director of Transformational Services for Haven for Hope. She will need a laptop and projector for her presentation.
Our Rotary Mission Statement for the Haven for Hope Project is the following:
Support Haven for Hope through a collective effort within the Rotary family and enhance Rotary awareness in the community by raising $1.25M over three years within Rotary District 5840.
Boys & Girls Club
Ms. Smith, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Texas Hill Country, will provide an overview of this 3-year old organization which is growing by leaps and bounds.

Exchange students Amarette Edmonson and Stephani Clayton will talk to the club about their experiences abroad.
