The Boerne Rotary Club welcomes Alana Naumann from Queensland, Australia, who arrived at SA International Airport on January 20th. Boerne High School Interact students Kristen Vineyard, Amanda Snyder and Liz Trodlier participated in this year's District 5840 RYLA conference in New Braunfels on January 18th - 20th.

The 2007 Children's Christmas Party at Kendall Elementary on December 1 was a huge hit, as usual.  Some 225 kids were served a hot breakfast before having a chance to talk to Santa and receive a gift.  Mrs. Nancy West led the Kendall Elementary choir.  See the photo section for more photos from the party.

Homecoming Float

Congratulations to the Boerne High School Interact Club, which took 2nd place in the Homecoming Parade float competition. The club's float, constructed at Interact counselor Kim Grosenbacher's house, featured a large, paper-maché rendition of the earth with a sign that read, "The World is Not Perfect... but We Can Make it Better." Go Hounds!

The University of Kentucky will honor 256 new donors -- including our own L. K. Croft -- who are now members of its Fellows Society at the annual Fellows Society Dinner on tonight, Friday, Oct. 5, in Rupp Arena. See the full story.
