Rotary Club of Boerne

Several Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Boerne participated in the Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday, May 1st.

Family Services indicated that a recipient of their Meal on Wheels had a problem with a door on the house.  After a drive by, the trim paint on the home and a big hole in the garage roof led us to believe we had a bigger project.

The supports and boards on the garage roof had rotted as well as the joists and rafters.  As a result we had to replace the top plate (the board on top of the blocks), replace the ends of the joists and rafters, which Jeff did before we arrived on Saturday. 

The Fabra EarlyAct Club held a regular meeting on April 14th, 2010 to conduct routine business and to pack and load boxes destined for Haiti to benefit victims of the earthquake.
